First impressions: 8 of 10
I love the no-nonsense first impression of this Bible. The colors are neutral, the layout is simple, it is easy to navigate and absent of all the fluff and frills we see in other Bibles. Generally, men don’t care for all the unnecessary filler that just takes up space and adds no real value to the Bible. This is a man’s Bible.

I love the special features in this Bible. They help men have a broader perspective and challenge them in their thinking. Some serious thought has gone into the extra features. Not just what was needed to help men, but what was unnecessary. The absence of questionable commentary and unneeded features are almost as important as the features themselves. Thanks for that!
Tools for engaging and challenging men specifically: 10 of 10
Let’s face it, most men need to be challenged in their devotion, their thinking, and their commitment to God’s word. This would be a great Bible to use in an interactive Bible study for men.
Features like ROOTED: Questions for Growth, challenge how men think and deal with real-world problems forcing them to consider their actions and their thinking. These are great questions for group discussions as well as personal reflection.

The Myth articles shed light on some of the common deceptions in the Church, encouraging men to read the Bible for themselves instead of just swallowing everything we hear from the pulpit. This is needed more than ever in this day and age.

Paper quality: 9 of 10
Personally, paper is always a concern for me. Because I like to highlight and write in my Bibles, as many do, I am very particular about the paper used. I don’t like bleed-through, being able to see highlights and writing from the other side of the page. It is almost impossible to find a Bible with pages that eliminate this, but some Bibles are far better than others. This Bible has a decent, sturdy paper which I appreciate.
Typeface: 9 of 10
I love large print because I read constantly. Although the 9.5 font size is not large print, it is comfortable to read and minimizes eye strain.
Overall Impression: 9 of 10
This is a great Bible for men. It was obviously designed to help and challenge men in their faith and provides tools and features that cater to a man’s perspective. The extra features in this Bible lend itself to personal reflection and relevant group discussions. I really like this Bible.
Overall Review: 9 of 10
