How Far Are Your Prayers Reaching?

          The Body of Christ is the most connected thing on the Earth. More connected than the molecules that make up the human body.

          Christians have the ability to affect change in the lives of believers, and unbelievers, all over the world through prayer.

1 Timothy 2:1-4 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, ² for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. ³ For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, ⁴ who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

James 5:16-18 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. ¹⁷ Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. ¹⁸ And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.   

How far do your prayers reach? Your circle of influence should be much greater than the few people you know. Expand your influence today by expanding your prayer life.

          Jesus gave us a simple instruction on how we should pray. Will you please take a minute daily and pray this prayer for all our brothers and sisters on the planet?

Matthew 6:9-13 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.¹⁰ Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. ¹¹ Give us this day our daily bread.
¹² And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. ¹³ And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
